2009 World Series

As the Fall Classic creeps closer, any excitement I once had has begun to fade. It's no secret I want to see the LA Dodgers in the World Series, made evident in my last post, but who do I want them to face? Well, here are my list of face-ups, in order from most to least desired:

1. Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
   
2. Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Yankees
3. Philadelphia Phillies vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
4. Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Yankees

Clearly, the Phillies vs. the Yanks is my worst case scenario. Unfortunately, with both the Dodgers and Angels down one game away from being eliminated, looks like this year's World Series is gonna be disappointing.



Oh well. As long as the Yankees don't win, I'll be happy.
